Nimby / CPQ alternative

Salesforce CPQ alternative

Quote in Salesforce without paying for CPQ.

If your quoting comes down to products, price books, discount approvals and a PDF, standard Salesforce Quotes can do the job. We rebuild your quoting there, move your open quotes, and get the CPQ non-renewal in before the notice date.

  • Free 30-minute renewal review
  • Fixed price, about half of one year's license
  • You own everything we build

What native Salesforce covers

Straight answer

Where CPQ still earns its keep

Deep bundles with nested options, multi-year quotes, contract amendments that prorate on their own, and usage-based pricing. If that's your daily work, CPQ may be worth the license, and the review will tell you so.

Ask which side you're on

How it works

Four steps, timed to your notice date.

Most CPQ sunsets take a few weeks. Setups with many price rules take longer, so we start from the notice date and work back.

The renewal date isn't your deadline. The notice date is.

  1. 01

    Inventory

Every product rule, price rule, template, and approval in your CPQ setup, and who actually uses each one.

You getAn inventory of your quoting setup that you keep after we're done.

  2. 02

    Decide

What moves to standard Quotes, what gets simpler, and anything worth keeping. Every call comes with a fixed quote.

You getA written recommendation and a fixed quote.

  3. 03

    Rebuild

Products, price books, approvals, and templates built in a sandbox first. Open quotes move over with a reconciliation report.

You getA quoting process your sales team signs off on.

  4. 04

    Retire

Old quotes archived first, then cutover, a clean uninstall of the package, and the non-renewal sent before the deadline.

You getA closed contract and a smaller bill.

Questions

Before you book.

Do we need a different Salesforce edition?

Standard Quotes come with Sales Cloud. Some approval and automation features depend on your edition, so we check yours on the review call before we quote.

What happens to our old CPQ quotes?

We export them before anything is uninstalled. The history stays on each opportunity as data, as PDFs, or both. Your choice.

How long does it take?

Most CPQ sunsets take a few weeks end to end. We plan from your notice date so the old license can't renew.

What does it cost?

About half of one year's CPQ license, as a fixed price agreed before you commit, with a $2,500 minimum. Half at signing, half at go-live.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Everything lives in your org and is documented, with no package of ours to license.

We'll reply within one business day with times for a 30-minute call. Bring the order form if you have it, since the notice clause is usually in there.
